Questions people ask.
Free is one person and up to 3 trips. That is enough to see your globe fill in, share a trip as a link, and have the people who were there leave notes on it. Atlas Family covers up to 6 adults on one subscription, with unlimited trips, the print-ready Trip Book and your year written up. Relatives you share with never need a seat or an account, on either plan.
Yes, from your account settings, one click. The household keeps Atlas Family until the end of the billing period, then drops back to Free with every photo and trip intact.
Nothing. Your photos and trips stay exactly where they are, for everyone in the household. You keep using Atlas on Free, under the 5 GB and 3-trip cap. We never delete anything because you downgraded or cancelled.
No, never. When you ask Atlas to refine a caption or organize a trip, it sends only what that request needs to our provider, Anthropic, under commercial terms that forbid training on your data. Nothing you upload is used to train any model, by us or by them. Your memories aren't inventory.
Yes. Share a link and they open the trip like a letter, with no app and no account, and can leave a reaction or a note under their own name. If you want them to add photos too, invite them by email and choose the contributor role.
Up to 6 adults, each with their own Atlas account, sharing one subscription and everything in it. Anyone else you want to show a trip to opens a link instead: no app, no account, no seat, and nothing to pay. They can still leave a note under their own name.
Everything they contributed stays with them, because photos and trips belong to the person who added them and never to the household. Everyone else keeps whatever they were entitled to on their own account. Nothing is deleted either way.
Yes. We email you 7 days before renewal so there are no surprises, and you can cancel in one click.
